age 18 | Childhood cancer survivor (brain tumor)

I am the mother of a survivor! She remains cancer-free at age 18 (a recent high school grad!) after being diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 6. While the treatment she received killed the cancer cells, she was left with many, many long-term side effects that will impact her life forever. We need safe AND effective treatments for our youngest fighters!

I've been friends with her mother for years and through her became better informed about childhood cancer, the hardships faced during and after treatments, and the long term effects cancer has on the whole family. I'm happy to support the organization that supported her, and do what I can to help raise awareness and funds for ASK.
